In the story of Norea, Yaldabaoth and his archons encircle her with no shortage of grotesque demand, much like the plight of Norea's mother, Eve, before her. Norea despairs, and suspends all disbelief to cry out a heartfelt plea to the Monad. The Monad hears, and for it a mighty angel breaks through the firmament. She shines her luminous fire, and the archons dispersed. The Angel questions Norea, and quite humbled, Norea sheepishly explains the predicament.
Eleleth, in a moment of sympathy, appreciates Norea's ignorance to the truth of things - and rectifies this error: Matter, false idols, and the callous burden of the corporeal were never our masters. Within Norea was a potential so bright that matter would only attempt to smother it, much like Eve before her. Eleleth explains the great task before Norea, which Norea accepts - and Eleleth departs.
In this story, Norea observes each of the four alchemical stages. In her despair she putrefies. In her receiving of Eleleth, she purifies. In her understanding of what Eleleth teaches her, she builds her solar body. Lastly, Norea moves on to build her Magnum Opus: What the Sethians would call The Unshakable Generation. In the most undeniable and practical terms - There is no greater fuel to propel us to new heights than our own miseries.
